ScreenersWe need volunteers to screen film submissions to ensure they meet submission guidelines. Screen as many or few entries as they like at your own pace. Plan on screening a minimum of 10 short films + 1 feature film and dedicating about 6 to 8 hours total between August 1st and September 1st, 2023. All screenings are completed online.
JurorJudge and rate films for final recognition. Experience or current status in one of the following areas is required: filmmaker, film and entertainment industy experience, journalist, film festival founder or director, educator (primary school or university film programs), media critic, science fiction expert (describe your qualifications). Your experience does not need to be directly within Science Fiction but you should be a fan of the genre. Jurors must be available to screen films online between September 5th and October 1st 2023. Total time comitment is 6 to 8 hours across three weeks.
